The essential oils inside the lime used to treat dysentery, constipation, hemorrhoids, disordered menstruation, diphtheria, acne, headache or vertigo, throatiness, cough, body odour, appetizer, prevent hair loss, dandruff, flu, fever, obesity, tonsil, nosebleed, and nose inflammation.

From recent study showed, lime also had benefits to prevent calculus, especially calcium idiopathy calculus. From the study also known that lime contains high citrate, while many calculus sufferer had low citrate level. They said the citrate level in local lime (Citrus aurantifolia Swingle) had 10 times higher than tangerine, and six times higher than sweet orange. The citrate content can reach until 55.6 gram per kg.

Soda Drink : Freshing Up But Corrupt Teeth

You, who love to consume soda drink, should be prepared to experience teeth corruptness. Because, this drink will erode your teeth enamel as strong as acid substance in battery.

This statement was result from newest study about the effect of soda drink which issued in Academy of General Dentistry (AGD). All this time, soda drinks often avoided by them who afraid of being fat or overweight because of the sugar content in this drink. Actually, there is still another threat peered over, it is enamel teeth damage. Thus was the conclusion by researchers from Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine.

Enamel damaged appears is very serious. After three minutes we drink soda drink, enamel scraped enamel is 10 times stronger than fruit juice. According to researchers, the citric acid level in all soda drink is the main cause of damaged occurs.

In their research, experts measure the acid level or pH from 20 soft drinks that sold in USA, like Coca Cola, Pepsi, 7up, and others. Soon after the lid can opened, small piece of tooth enamel immersed into it. After 48 jam, that enamel was weighed to know the enamel weight difference between after and before immersed.

According to AGD spokesman, Kenton Ross, the highest acid level in soda drinks is RC Cola with about pH 2,387 (pH level is start from 0 to 14, with 0 is the most acid). The second rank is Cherry Coke with pH level about 2,522 and the third rank is Coca Cola with acid level about 2,525.

As comparison, acid substance in battery is 1.0 and purified water in room temperature had pH 7.0. According to researchers, from this study known that acid level in soda drinks is the root cause of teeth erosion. Type of acid substance in soda, amount and calcium content also be the factor of teeth erosion. Citric acid is the strongest acid substance that erodes the enamel and found mostly in soft drink.

The conclusion is acidity in soft drink had strong ability to damage your teeth and it should be avoided.

But, objection appearS from American Beverage Association spokesman, Tracey Halliday. This research doesn’t reflect the real reality and can’t be applicable in real situation where people diet and habit consumption of one man is different with other man. Besides, there are so many other factors can also damaged teeth, she said.

Soto Blora

Ingredients :
1700 ml chicken broth
400 g chicken meat
100 g been sprouts, flush it with boiled water, drain it
2 tsp cooking oil
6 onion, refined it
4 garlic, refined it
2 pcs pepper leaves
2 lemongrass, confuse it
2 cm galangale, confuse it
1/2 tsp coriander, roasted, refined it
2 sheet lime leaf
1 tsp celery, chopped
1 pcs onion leaf, chopped
1 tsp sweet soy sauge
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1/2 tsp sugar
1/2 tsp white pepper power
Salt at sufficiently

Preparation :
  1. Boil the meat chicken. After soft, lift it up. Make the meat into sweetmeat and then keep the broth.
  2. Pre heat cooking oil, then sautéing all the spices until smell good.
  3. Add the sweetmeat, then mix well.
  4. Put into it the chicken broth, then cook until boil and cooked.
  5. Prepare bowls, and put into the bowl been sprouts, chicken, onion leaf, celery and pour the broth.
  6. Ready to serve.

Fried Chili Grinded Meat (Sambal Goreng Daging Gelinding)

Ingredients :
250 grinded meat (cow meat)
2 fang onions, pounded
3 pcs red chili, pounded
350 ml coconut milk
2 pcs red chili, shred
5 pcs onion, shred
1 pcs tomato, chopped
1 pcs pepper leaf
2 cm galangale, striked
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp sugar
1/2 tamarind

Preparation :
  1. Make balls for grinded meat, then fry it until brown, lift it and allow it for a while.
  2. Saute onion and red chili until smell good.
  3. Put into it chopped red chili, chopped onion, tomato, pepper leaf, and galangale, mix it until faded.
  4. Put into it the grinded meat and coconut milk, stir it, add salt, sugar, and tamarind.
  5. Cook it until the spices penetrate and the broth coagulate. Take away.

Chicken Kebab

Ingredients :
500 g Chicken meat
500 g red paprika
500 g leek
100 g mushrooms
150 ml cooking oil
50 ml air lime

Seasonings :
3 clove of garlic, chopped
1 tsp pepper
10 pcs fennel, pounded
4 pcs kapulaga, pounded
1 tsp salt
1 tsp sugar
1/4 tsp clove powder
1 sp marinated sauce
1 sp soy sausage

Preparation :
  1. Cut the chicken 2 x 2 1/2 x 3 cm.
  2. Make the immerge sauce : Mix cooking oil, lime, garlic, pepper, fennel, kapulaga, salt, brown sugar, clove, marinated sauce, soy sausage until homogenous.
  3. Merge chicken into immerge sauce, keep in refrigerator for 5 - 6 jam, stir it sometimes.
  4. Cut the Paprika and leek into 3 x 3 cm or you can cut the leek into 10 pieces.
  5. Stick to the skewer : paprika, leek, mushrooms, paprika, leek, chicken, etc.
  6. Roast it on ember until cooked while wipe it with immerge sauce.
