Calcium 520mg, Magnesium 40mg
Yield : 4 Servings

Ingredients :
5 eggs
1 1/2 cup milk (I like to use half milk and half heavy cream instead)
1 green onion, minced
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
salt
pepper
1 package (8 ounces) shredded mild cheddar cheese
1/2 lb bacon (fried and crumbled)


Preparations :
  • Fry bacon until crisp, then remove strips and drain. Crumble bacon.
  • Wisk all other ingredients together except cheese, and pour into an 8 x 8 inch greased glass pan.
  • Sprinkle bacon and cheese evenly over top.
  • Bake in a preheated 4000 oven for 20 minutes, watching so that it does not get too brown.
  • Garnish with chopped, fresh parsley.
